Curl Curl Residence
Brief: The owners of the Curl Curl property are a professional couple who were seeking a design that embodied the relaxed ambiance of their beachside suburb. They desired a garden that reflected their easygoing personalities, celebrated the coastal environment, and complemented the strong architectural elements of their residence.
Design: Inspired by the picturesque landscape of the Northern Beaches, our design approach echoes the natural coastal elements. The garden beds have been elevated and contoured reminiscent of the nearby rolling dunes. Paying tribute to the architectural allure of Australian Native plants, we have integrated them with key exotic species, crafting a tapestry of 'green on green'. As the residence takes center stage, it stands akin to a majestic cliff face, evoking a sense of grand arrival. To complement the prominence of the building, lower, relaxed plantings have been strategically incorporated, softening the base and harmonizing the overall composition.
